about

We originally intended to release an album of our Awakenings performance on the 27th June 2009 but due to the major technical problems we encountered during the performance this idea was shelved.

In Jan 2013, it was decided that these tracks needed re-evaluating and we therefore came to the conclusion that they were too good to not see a release. So here we have the resulting album.

The album contains studio versions of most of the tracks that were performed live, plus new tracks and bridging sections.
Also two of the actual live tracks were salvaged and are featured.

The album spans the sequencer driven sound of the 70s the more melodic synth rock of the 80s. File between TD Underwater Sunlight and Ian Boddy The Deep.

Dedicated to everyone who supported us at Awakenings and continue to support that series of concerts. A special thanks to Dave Gurr for the visuals that set the theme for this album.
